Pumpkin Coffee Cake

This makes enough for a crowd!


2 packages pound cake mix Topping:
4t. pumpkin pie spice ½ C. chopped nuts (esp. candied pecans)
2 t. baking powder 1 C brown sugar
2/3 C. water 2 t. cinnamon
2 ¼ C. solid pack pumpkin 1/3 C. butter
4 eggs
2 T. Cinnamon/ sugar, mixed

Combine cake mixes, spice and baking powder in large bowl. Add water, pumpkin and eggs; beat on medium speed for 3 minutes. Spread half of batter into greased 13x9 inch baking pan; sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar. Carefully spread remaining batter. In medium bowl mix dry ingredients of topping and cut in butter until combined. Sprinkle topping over cake and bake at 325* for 50-55 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.

Cake is best after it has cooled. Serves 12-15
